The Sevierville Police Department is proud to announce they are offering their Citizens Police Academy this fall. The purpose of the academy is to provide an opportunity for adult residents to learn about basic police work and to get to know the officers protecting and serving our community.

The academy will meet 6:00PM-9:00PM on Thursday evenings from September 13 - November 15, 2018. The program is free.

Kourikoulòm pou pwogram nan ap gen 30 èdtan nan salklas ak ansèyman jaden. Sijè yo pral genyen: Metòd Patwouy, Envestigasyon, Sispansyon Veyikil, Teknik Defans, Entèdiksyon DUI, Taser, Pwogram Polis Kominotè, ak Entwodiksyon Zam Lapolis.

"Citizens Police Academy se yon gwo opòtinite pou sitwayen yo kominike avèk ofisye lapolis yo, aprann kisa ki enplike nan travay lapolis epi fè eksperyans kisa sa ye pou yon ofisye," Chèf Joseph Manning te di.

Applications are available at the Sevierville Police Department, 300 Gary R. Wade Blvd. Sevierville, TN 37862. Applicants must complete all of the Citizen Police Academy registration forms and return them to the Sevierville Police Department by 5PM on Monday, September 10, 2018.
