FREE Child Fingerprinting Event Scheduled

Sevierville Police Department officers will be offering child fingerprinting and safety information tomorrow, Saturday, February 23, 2019. The free event will take place from 11AM-2PM at Family Dollar, 120 East Main Street.

SPD highly recommends that parents keep their child’s fingerprints and a recent photo on hand, so that they can be used in the event the child is lost or abducted.

“We are fortunate to live in an area with a low crime rate, however, I cannot over emphasize the importance of being prepared in case your child becomes lost or is abducted,” said SPD Chief Joseph Manning. “This information would greatly assist law enforcement personnel in locating your child.”
